Introduction

Well established International Clearing and Forwarding Company looking for an experienced Driver.

Vehicles 4-8ton and small delivery vehicles

Duties & Responsibilities

• Collection and delivery of cargo and documents in the greater Cape Town area. Vehicles 4-8ton and small delivery vehicles
• Assistance in warehouse operation when required
• Receipt and dispatch of cargo from warehouse
• Liaising with Customs, Transnet and other government authorities
• Attending to Customs inspections
• Loading and offloading of cargo with forklift (training will be provided)
• After hours and weekend work will be required from time to time.
• Experience & Qualification
• Matric
• Minimum 5 years relevant industry experience
• Warehouse experience will be advantageous
• Fair knowledge of Customs and Transnet front desk functions as daily liaison will be required
• Fair knowledge of collection and delivery procedures at airport, seaport, depots and terminals
• Good telephonic & interpersonal skills & manners.
• Must be presentable when dealing with customers and suppliers.
• Must be energetic
• Be in possession of valid driver’s license minimum code C1 and a valid PDP (Cargo)
• Valid Forklift license will be advantageous
