Introduction

Our company is looking for a suitably qualified and experienced Store Assistant to join our dynamic team.

Main Purpose of Job

Assist with the running of the whole store

Duties & Responsibilities

• Ensure that service level standards are maintained
• Ensure proper communication between departments and customers
• Ensure full adherence to company policies and procedures
• Manage Factory Outlet Store Assistant (If applicable)
• Responsible for all daily transactions
• Ensure that all operational equipment is kept safe, neat and orderly
• POS Sales/manual invoice books
• POS Credit notes
• Achieve Monthly/Quarterly/Annual Sales targets
• Stock Returns
• Purchase orders and GRVs
• Stock Control/Stock Take
• Resolve Daily variances
• Manage Cash Deposits
• In store promotions
• Independent approach
• Clear 90-day stock
• Day End Reports
• Month End Reports
• Desired Experience & Qualification
• Minimum Education
• Matric

Experience

• 2-3 years of Retail experience
• Experience in Merchandising
• Good communication and organizational skills
• Valid Driver’s License
• Energetic and Real go-getter
• Must be fully computer literate in Microsoft Word (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc)
• Skills and Competencies
• Experience in retail or sales environment
• High energy levels with a drive for sales
• Excellent negotiation skills
• Target driven
• Reliable and trustworthy
• Valid driver’s license
