Our Client, JD Group Limited, is looking for a Service Centre Clerk within the Supply Chain Division based in Rosslyn. You will be responsible for performing a clerical service for the Service Centre to achieve the effective and efficient maintenance of the Service Centre function. You will need to have experience within a Warehousing or Retail environment within a similar role.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Execute general administration for the Service Centre as needed
- File Service Centre documentation according to filing procedures
- Process and capture documentation on the SAP system
- Maintain filing system according to SC procedures
- Contact suppliers to get authorisation for repairs
- Execute the Request for Quotation for repairs from suppliers
- Obtain extended guarantee authorisation from branches
- Debit extended guarantees against branches via Head Office
- Capture relevant incident reports
- Assist with catering and related functions
- Perform front desk operations
- Process documentation for the department
- Distribute the necessary documentation in accordance with procedures and guidelines
- Assist across departments when required to do so
- Reconcile fingertech reports for attendance records
- Capture time and attendance and allowances
- Execute Service Centre inventory control and safekeeping practices
- Check inbound and outbound documentation for accuracy and completeness
- File inbound and outbound documentation according to filing procedures
- Ensure protection and safety of all documentation
- Perform physical stock counts as required
- Execute activities to comply with relevant safety policies and procedures
- Comply with access established control to restricted areas
- Comply with Service Centre safety operational guidelines policies, processes, and procedures
- Comply with safe working condition
- Deal with internal and external customers in a customer-centric manner
- Understand and apply for standards set out in all legislation that effects the customer
- Deal effectively and timeously with customer complaints and ensure that complaints are resolved or escalated in line with agreed standards
- Recognise and celebrate customer centric behaviour within others
- Manage colleagues and customers’ expectations and communicate appropriately
- Act in a customer centric manner that is in line with the service code
- Meet and exceed the requirements of internal and external customers
- Multi-skill across departments where and when required

Minimum Requirements:
- Matric
- 2-3 years’ experience in administration within a Warehousing or Retail environment (Warehousing, stock control, petty cash administration, records maintenance etc.)
- Proficient in MS Office and SAP or EWM
