Duties include, but not limited to:

Supervise and schedule housekeeping staff.
Responsible for the cleanliness and neat appearance of all guest rooms and public areas and Spa.
Assumes full responsibility for the day to day running of the housekeeping department. Directs and controls, in conjunction with supervisory staff, the work of all housekeeping staff to ensure a high standard of cleanliness and comfort in all guest rooms and public areas
Responsible for ensuring set standards in all guest rooms as regards furnishings and guest supplies.
Maintains linen and guest supply inventories (assist with monthly stock take).
Responsible for the training of staff within the housekeeping department, LVX, SOP Training and hygiene.
Liaises directly with the Front Office as to guest arrivals, departures, room allocations, etc. Informs Front Office as to the availability of rooms and complete the housekeeping report on a daily basis (signs off ready rooms on Opera).
Ensures that customer relations are kept at a high standard and that queries and complaints are dealt with promptly and in a satisfactory manner.
Maintains and ongoing room maintenance and spring-cleaning schedule in conjunction with the Rooms Division Manager and the Maintenance Department.
